New Features: July 2024

This month, while a major focus was time-proofing our internal-facing data, we were also able to implement several improvements specifically requested by clients during our Annual Client Satisfaction survey in May!

IMPROVED: New merge tags and customizations for Salary Review Statements
We’ve expanded your customization options on BalancedComp’s Salary Review Statements feature in two meaningful ways. First, you now have the option to remove the employee’s performance score from the Header Content. Additionally, we’ve added 4 new merge tags to use in your Letter Content: Current Wages, New Wages, Dollar Increase, and Percent Increase!

IMPROVED: Ability to filter scenario employees
As one of our clients pointed out, when we moved from Comp Classic to Hyperion (modern BalancedComp), our new design pattern reduced the ease with which clients could evaluate if employees were missing from the scenario.

When working in a scenario through the budget process, we used to be able to quickly see all the employees “in” the scenario versus all the employees “not in” that scenario.  It was so easy to see anyone missing because I could sort by DIP and also see their job title and other relevant data.  We have one scenario for officers and another for non-officers and they each run off of different DIP dates.  I lost that ease of use.

Based on that feedback, we’ve added a new filter that makes it very easy for you to filter for employees who are not currently in a particular scenario:

IMPROVED: More information when viewing Past Plans
Now, in BalancedResults, when viewing an employee’s past plans, you can see when each plan was completed and by whom!
